Desert Patrol. A limited edition of 500 fine art prints from an original oil painting by Cliff Minney. This evocative full colour print shows Flying Officer Neville Duke on patrol high over the Western Desert in November 1942 flying his 92 Squadron Spitfire Mk.Vb (Trop) ER220/QJ-R. Each print is individually numbered and is personally signed by Neville Duke in ink. Printed on high quality art paper the print measures 617mm x 441mm, the image is 575mm x 380mm and is suitable for framing. The cost is just £15 plus £2.50 postage and packing in the UK. The print will be despatched in a stout cardboard tube. |
SPITFIRE FLIGHT
Geoff Wellum has signed 50 photographs towards the fund-raising for 34081 92 Squadron's overhaul. These are real photographs, not inkjet copies. The main image is of a flight of five Spitfire MK.Vb aircraft and the smaller inset is of 34081 passing through Waterloo East with the Man Of Kent on 1st August 1957. Overall size of the combined photograph is 7ins x 5ins. Once these 50 have been sold there will be no more of this particular photograph available signed by Geoff. Allan is flying aircraft QJ-S nearest the camera. Overall size is 7ins x 5ins. The main image features a formation of 92 Squadron Mk.Vb Spitfires returning from a second successful sortie against enemy fighters on 16th May 1941 and the secondary image features 92 Squadron's namesake steam locomotive, Battle Of Britain Class Nº34081 92 Squadron running into Woking station on 24th February 1963.
